The Aveda Shampure is a great shampoo having a beautiful scent. I tend to try plenty of shampoos and end up going back to Shampure all of the time. It is 1 of the couple of shampoos that does not seem to strip my hair. Along with the conditioner is excellent as well. I've really thick and wavy hair, about mid-length, and when I use this shampoo, my hair always feels and smells amazing. However, essentially the most important reason that I maintain acquiring Aveda Shampure is simply because it has no detergent in it. When you have itching right after you shampoo, you might be allergic to the sodium laureth sulfate which is a detergent ingredient in all shampoos. Organic shampoos generally don't have this ingredient but constantly read the label to make sure. Your itching will go away when you eliminate the sodium laureth sulfate. Some other organic shampoos that do not have this ingredient are Kiss My Face, Jason and EO.
